Shoppers have made an interesting discovery in Asda, spotting a new winter chocolate in the height of summer.

Britons can't wait to try the Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp Chocolate Bar 360g, available from the supermarket for £4.50.


Social media posts by New Foods UK have garnered a lot of attention from chocolate fans.

Self-confessed chocoholics flocked to the comments section with gleeful cries of "yay for me", "I love these" and "yummy".

Shoppers said: 'We better get to Asda!'

A particularly obsessed Cadbury fan even called it "the best chocolate ever made". Another seconded this, calling the flavour their "favourite".

One social media user tagged a loved one in the comments section, stating: "We better get to Asda!" Their fellow chocolate enthusiast responded: "Christmas won’t be ruined this year!"

Another suggested a trip to Asda, to which they replied: "Done deal."

A chocolate fan enlisted a loved one to help them get their hands on the chocolate treat: "I definitely need a ride to Asda - these are lovely."

One said: "Get it in the bag." Another said: "This can be my treat at the weekend haha." A third added: "Mmmmm, I need."

One social media user predicted that they would be eating copious bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp: "These will be the death of me. So so good."

Shoppers are delighted that the product has made its return to supermarket shelves. Indeed, a die-hard fan said: "It's about time they brought it back."

Another chocoholic told a fellow Cadbury enthusiast: "You need to try this." To this, they replied: "Oh, I ate a full bar in one sitting last year!! Delicious!"

However, not everyone was over the moon to hear about the arrival of the limited edition chocolate treat.
