Britons can snap up Honeycomb Nougat, Caramel Brownie and Salty Fudge Almond chocolate from today

Aldi has brought back its popular Choceur CHOCO CHANGER chocolate bars, following "sell-out success" in 2021.

The chocolate bars are available from today in three exciting new flavours: Honeycomb Nougat, Caramel Brownie and Salty Fudge Almond. Britons can snap these up for £2.25 each.

The Aldi chocolate bars will return to stores as Specialbuys. These are the "unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi - from DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping and everything in between".

Specialbuys hit Aldi shelves every Thursday and Sunday at "unbelievable prices", but Britons are warned that "once, they're gone, they're gone". So, if you want to get your hands on the chocolate treats, it might be wise to act fast.

These chocolate bars are the result of Aldi's partnership with Tony's Open Chain, ensuring 100 per cent responsibly sourced cocoa.

Aldi's collaboration with Tony's Open Chain demonstrates a commitment to responsible cocoa sourcing.

The chocolate bars are produced in line with Tony's five sourcing principles, ensuring ethical practices throughout the supply chain.

A key aspect of this collaboration is Aldi's pledge to pay a Living Income Reference Price for all cocoa used in the Choceur CHOCO CHANGER range. This initiative directly supports cocoa farmers in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire, helping them earn a living wage.

Aldi's commitment to sustainable cocoa sourcing extends beyond the Choceur CHOCO CHANGER range.

The supermarket is also dedicated to sourcing cocoa sustainably through its Fairly Traded policy, with the ambition for 100 per cent of cocoa in Aldi’s own-label products sold in the UK and Ireland to be either Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance or Cocoa Horizons certified by 2025.

National sustainability director at Aldi UK Liz Fox said: "We’re delighted to be collaborating once again with Tony’s Open Chain to provide Aldi customers with chocolate that is equally delicious and ethical.

"As a member of Tony’s Open Chain, Aldi is committed to helping protect and improve the lives of farmers in West Africa. And with every purchase of the CHOCO CHANGER, our shoppers are also helping create a positive change across the world."

Head of sales at Tony’s Open Chain Sanne van Zon-Arts commented: "After welcoming Aldi as a Mission Ally over three years ago, we’re glad to continue our drive for structural change with the return of the CHOCO CHANGER to the shelves of UK stores.

"Our partnership with Aldi continues to be a pioneering force for good and demonstrates our shared commitment to transforming supply chains across the globe."
