Weight loss: Fitness trainer shares the three times of the day to walk if you want to slim down

Walking is hailed as a simple yet effective weight loss strategy. It's free, it doesn't require high fitness levels and it can be easily incorporated into your day.
A fitness coach shared the walking routine that can help slimmers see real results. Using this plan herself, she managed to shed an impressive 40lb (2st 12lb).
Online fitness coach Alex (who goes by @alexx.fitt on TikTok) took to the sharing platform to provide her top walking for weight loss tips.
She said: "I lost 40lb just by walking. Here's how I did it and here's how you're going to do to start losing weight by walking."
Opt for short walks throughout the day rather than one long walk

The expert recommended starting small, opting for shorter walks throughout the day rather than one long walk.
To achieve this, she did a morning walk and then two walks later in the day, one after lunch and the other after dinner.
This may feel more appealing for slimmers than undertaking one mammoth two-hour trek every day.
Alex explained that when she was losing weight, she would wake up and go for a walk around 10 minutes before eating breakfast.
She would go for another walk after lunch, telling slimmers: "If you're at school or work, I know you're able to get outside and get your body moving.
"This helps your food digest, it helps get rid of bloating - everything."
After dinner, the walking enthusiast would enjoy her longest walk of the day, heading out for a stroll for around half an hour.
Throughout the day, Alex revealed that she continues to aim for 10,000 steps.
If walking 10,000 steps per day seems unmanageable, slimmers should remember that this does not have to be all at once. Breaking this number into shorter, bite-sized walks is just as beneficial.
