While losing weight may feel like a mammoth task, making slight lifestyle changes can reap major results - you don't have to dramatically restrict your diet or spend hours in the gym.
A personal trainer spoke exclusively to GB News about his top tips for losing weight "easily and effectively at home" with some simple "adjustments".
Everybody knows that eating a healthy, balanced diet and keeping active is essential for losing weight - but drinking more water is another effective strategy.
Jerome Draculan stated: "Your new best friend is water. Try to consume two to three litres daily."

The benefits of drinking more water are many. Another weight loss expert, Michelle Roots, explained that upping your H20 intake actually "helps your body burn fat".
She explained on YouTube: "The process in your body where your body burns fat naturally and converts it into energy is called lipolysis.
"And the first step in that process is called hydrolysis. That's where your body is adding water to the fat to help break it down."
"Studies have found that increasing your water intake will increase the lipolysis in your body, meaning you increase your metabolism - so the amount of calories you burn on a daily basis."
Drinking more water also keeps the body feeling fuller for longer, stopping slimmers from reaching for sugary snacks throughout the day.
If you're exercising, hydrating beforehand is essential to fuel your workouts and give you energy.
Hydrating after exercise is equally important, as this will help your muscles recover and restore any fluids lost through sweating.
What's more, swapping sweet, sugary drinks with water could save you up to hundreds of calories every day.
Personal trainer Jerome added: "Bonus - it provides a reason to take more bathroom breaks and get up from your desk." This will increase your daily steps, which is incredibly beneficial for weight loss.
Indeed, water is always a better option than a "sugar bomb". The expert advised: "Avoid calorie-dense beverages and occasionally indulge in sweets. That second caramel latte is unnecessary."

But no amount of water can make up for a poor diet. According to Jerome, slimming "starts in the kitchen".
He advised: "Load up on lean protein (chicken, tofu, eggs), whole grains (quinoa, oats) and colourful veggies.
"To make it appear as though you are eating more, use smaller bowls or plates. Science says it works."
For those looking to increase their daily activity, a weight loss expert shared her "surefire" strategy for burning fat and changing your body composition.
If your goal is to lose weight, it is always best to consult your doctor first, as they can provide guidance on how to do this safely and sustainably.
