Weight loss is synonymous with strenuous workouts and restrictive diets, but even walking can make a difference.
Kathleen Hart claims she lost more than 3st 13lb after upping her step count to 10,000 daily steps.
“Walking is probably the best exercise that you could do for weight loss,” the content creator told her viewers. “I didn’t even realise that walking helped me lose tonnes of weight.
“I lost 55 pounds each time, and getting my steps in every day is the key to how I lost weight.

The content creator admitted to her viewers that she hates exercising and home workout videos.
“I don’t like going to a gym,” she added. “But the best part is that walking to me, and getting my steps in, does not feel like exercise, it’s actually fun."
To achieve her 3st 13lb weight loss, Kathleen worked her way up from a modest 2,000 step count to 10,000 daily steps.
The slimmer’s advice to others is to start slow and track how many steps they’re getting in at present.
She recommends increasing a step count in small increments, claiming this will be more beneficial than trying to do too much at once.
“It’s a low-impact workout, so you’re not going to be putting a lot of stress on your joints, or your knees and you’re also going to be burning calories," she said.
“The greatest part is you can walk for long distances, and you can also walk for a long period of time.
“The best part is that walking can reduce belly fat because it can help the body’s response to insulin."
Another way slimmers can challenge themselves while walking is by picking up the pace.
