Making small changes in your day-to-day life can add up to significant results over time, and the internet is brimming with stories to prove it.
Slimmers have shared countless ways to burn fat without resorting to extreme diets or exercise regimes.
Chloe Byrnes, claims she succeeded by tweaking her drinking and eating habits, and she hasn't looked back since.
The slimmer, from Blackpool, said in a recent TikTok video: “Last year, I lost three stone in three months.

“I’m all for body positivity, but looking [the way I did] did not make me happy. I was 16.5 stone and that wasn’t okay with me.”
The first habit Chloe amended was her drinking, cutting out alcohol and swapping coffee and tea for water.
“Alcohol, gone,” she declared. “I literally drank nothing but water. No coffee or tea, it was very hard. But it got easier.”
Alcohol can lead to weight gain in several different ways. It stops the body from burning fat, it’s high in kilojoules, it can make you feel hungry and lead to unhealthy cravings.
“If you’re trying to lose weight you need to think about what you are drinking as well as what you are eating,” stresses the NHS.
“Drinking four bottles of 12 per cent strength wine a month adds up to a yearly consumption of up to 32,400 kcal.
“Drinking five pints of 5.2 per cent strength lager each week adds up to 57,720 kcal in a year.”
Although alcohol is linked to weight gain, beverages like tea and coffee can enhance weight loss efforts.
Research has shown that the caffeine in these drinks enhances fat burning by as much as 29 per cent in lean people and 10 per cent in obese individuals.
In terms of exercise, Chloe also opted for a low-intensity approach instead of a high-intensity one.

These typically involve a more gradual approach to muscle gain and therefore minimise the risk of burning out.
“I didn’t do any heavy workouts and tried to walk three miles a day. I had no cheat days, I kept myself motivated and didn’t give up.”
While most individuals manage to lose weight by walking, their success hinges largely on how intensely they walk and how healthy their diet is.
A combination of physical activity and cutting calories seems to help much more with weight loss than exercise alone.
