Drivers can choose from three different Dacia Spring models
DACIA
A standard Dacia Spring has a range of 140 miles (WLTP mixed cycle) or 186 miles (WLTP urban cycle) and charging speeds of four hours when using a 7kW wall box to charge from 20 per cent to 100 per cent.
For an additional £10 a month, motorists can get the Dacia Spring Expression 65, which boasts a more powerful motor with the highest level of standard equipment.
Prices will start from £179 a month, with a 3.9 per cent APR representative PCP finance package, with a deposit of £2,722.
The highest-performance Dacia model will set drivers back just £189 per month for the Extreme 65 version, equipped with the biggest electric motor.
All vehicles will have a seven-inch instrument cluster, in addition to cruise control, steering wheel-mounted controls and manual air conditioning.
Drivers will also be able to install a home charger after making use of the deal for under £20 a month through Mobilize Power Solutions.
While it will add extra costs to the total price of the vehicle, when using a smart off-peak tariff, drivers can recharge for as little as seven pence per kilowatt, with a full charge costing less than £2.
Dacia, which has sold more than eight million cars since 2004, has become one of the UK's favourite brands in recent years, with suitable vehicles for families, good battery range and reliable design.
The Spring is aimed at urban mobility, with Dacia research finding that the average daily trip made by drivers covers just 23 miles, at an average speed of 23mph.
Speaking at the time of the launch, David Durand, design director at Dacia, said the brand was aiming to make its vehicles more attractive for motorists and potential consumers.
He said: “As Spring embraces the brand’s new design language, it is a resolute sign that it is here to stay as a key member of the Dacia family.
"We gave it a serious and confident design. Building on the success of the previous generation, the All-New Spring confidently asserts its own identity.”
