Labour’s pledge to fund councils to repair up to a million potholes a year in England has been heavily criticised by GB News star Bev Turner.
In a bid to back motorists, Keir Starmer’s party said it would give “multi-year funding settlements to local leaders” to fix broken roads.
They accused the Government of adopting a “sticking plaster approach” to repairs.
Speaking on GB News, Bev was not receptive to Labour’s proposal, saying the public “see right through it” during a fiery rant.

“They’re talking about the ‘neglect’ of potholes, you have neglected potholes”, she said.
“You are to blame for this. The public see right through it. The idea they can fix all these potholes. They haven’t done it, why? They don’t care enough.”

Bev’s co-host Andrew Pierce concurred with his colleague, adding: “Labour councils have potholes, what have they done about it?”
Isabel Webster was also sceptical about Starmer’s aims, questioning car policies put in place by Labour-led authorities in Wales and London.

“Sadiq Khan has made it impossible to drive in London”, she said.
“It’s also impossible to drive in Labour-run Wales with 20mph speed limits.”
Shadow Transport Secretary Louise Haigh hit out at the Tories, arguing they have failed motorists and argued her party is the “only party truly on the side of drivers”.
She accused the Government of leaving “Britain’s roads plagued with potholes” and “sitting back as car insurance costs have spiralled out of control”.
“We will make our roads safer for all who use them and remove the barriers which bog down our planning system, speeding up infrastructure improvements and cutting costs for taxpayers.”
A Tory spokesman hit out at Labour’s plans, citing policies like 20mph speed limits and the expansion of London’s ultra-low emission zone.
He said: "Labour continues to sacrifice motorists for their eco zealot agenda.
“Only the Conservatives have a clear plan and are taking bold action to back Britons on the road," he added. "Labour would take us right back to square one."
