Asda and Morrisons share product recalls - stop using item 'immediately'

Asda and Morrisons have recalled products due to possible safety risks.
Both of the items being withdrawn are designed for children, with shoppers urged to stop using one of them "immediately".
In a recall released today, Asda asked for shoppers to return a children's vest.
The Shark Rashvest was found to be non-compliant with safety standards.

An Asda statement added: "The Shark Rashvest has been identified as non-compliant to the Sunsafe standard as it is a half sleeve, not 3/4 length sleeve as per requirement.
"If you have purchased a Shark Rashvest, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt."
Shoppers should look out for the Shark Rashvest at all price points, £5, £6 or £7.
The affected packs have the identification code 5715-0031-001.
The supermarket giant added: "We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused."

Morrisons also has an ongoing product recall for a children's toy.
The ZURU Robotic Baby Shark Sing and Swim Bath Toy (with a plastic top fin) has been recalled due to a possible safety issue.

A statement explained: "ZURU is recalling this item as children using the toy, particularly in a bath or paddling pool, can slip and fall onto the hard plastic top fin of the Baby Shark and may suffer scratches, laceration, or puncture injuries."
Those who had purchased the product have been asked to stop using it straight away.
The statement said: "Please immediately stop using the Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toy (with hard plastic top fin) and register for the recall to receive a refund at: https://www.recallrtr.com/bathshark or www.Zurutoys.com or by calling the dedicated recall telephone line: 0800 208 1072.
"No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."
