Soap star Sally Dynevor spoke about her experience after being diagnosed with breast cancer
Sally Dynevor has today shared more details on the heartbreaking cancer diagnosis she received in 2009.
The Coronation Street star explained she was told the news while her on screen character battled the illness.
In fact, Sally's doctor told her she had cancer the same day she filmed a scene telling her on-screen husband.
She said she thought the doctor had confused her with her character and only got checked as she noticed something "very, very tiny".

The actress has shared more details about her diagnosis more than 10 years ago as she backs a new campaign.
She is part of a campaign by Prevent Breast Cancer to help improve resources to train those who work in breast cancer screening.
She explained she "fainted" when given her diagnosis.
"You never think that’s going to happen to you," Sally told BBC Breakfast.
"When somebody tells you that news, and it comes really out of the blue, it’s really shocking.”
Sally had surgery for her cancer, which is a common treatment.
She had her lymph nodes removed and a lumpectomy and chemotherapy.
Breast cancer is most common in women over the age of 50, but it can affect people at any age.
