One centenarian has demonstrated just how powerful a healthy diet can be after reaching his 100th year, crediting his fruit-rich juice for his vitality.


Affectionately known as Jeddo, the Lebanese word for grandpa, the centenarian frequently receives inquiries about his wellness secrets.

His granddaughter recently decided to share the juice he drinks daily to maintain remarkable energy and strength at 100 years of age.

In a recent clip, Kristina, from FullyRawKristina, shared that Jeddo has overcome cancer on three separate occasions, yet maintains an active lifestyle.

"My 100-year-old grandpa drinks this juice every day," she told viewers. "My Jeddo just turned 100 years old, what a blessing.

"People are always asking me what he's done to stay in such great shape because he still has so much energy and is still so active and strong."

At the heart of Jeddo's dietary regime is an abundance of fruits, which has remained his primary dietary staple throughout his life. This is great for overall health, although he has not credited it for beating his illnesses.

His daily menu features lemons, bananas and berries, noted Kristina. Traditional Lebanese salads, enriched with fresh herbs, also form a significant part of his nutritional choices.

This fruit-heavy diet, which he's adhered to for over a decade, has seemingly contributed to his remarkable health.

For the past decade, Jeddo has maintained a daily juice regimen that has become a cornerstone of his wellness routine.

The recipe for 64 ounces (nearly two litres) of Jeddo's juice is as follows:

  • 5-8 apples
  • Head of celery
  • Handful of spinach
  • 1-2 cucumbers

The specially crafted beverage combines sweet flavours with mineral-rich greens, with Jeddo's family reporting that it has been instrumental in maintaining his energy levels.

While juicing can complement a balanced diet, particularly for those who struggle to consume whole fruits and vegetables, the key focus remains on limiting unhealthy food choices where possible.

As a rule of thumb, experts emphasise the importance of incorporating nuts, seeds, vegetables and whole grains into daily eating patterns.
