The beloved Love Island couple have called time on their relationship

Molly-Mae Hague stunned fans on Wednesday when she announced she and boxer fiancé Tommy Fury had decided to split.

She admitted she was "extremely upset" in view of her 7.9million Instagram followers, and the announcement was closely followed by Fury.

The 25-year-old boxer also took to Instagram, where he posted on his Story: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.

"The past 5 years have led to us having a beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.

"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."

Meanwhile, his former fiancée Hague, also 25, had shared an hour prior: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not in this way.

The couple met on ITV reality show Love Island in 2019 and share one daughter together.

They got engaged last year but it seems sadly their fairytale romance has come to an unexpected end.

The reality stars built a strong following over their romance, which they have continuously shared updates on.

Hague released no details about the reason for their split, but long-term Love Island fans have already expressed their shock over the announcement.

The couple have always shared updates with fans since their romance began, and have remained candid about their relationship in the past.

In a video uploaded to influencer Hague's social media last week, she explained she felt guilty over her struggle to find balance in her life.

She said: "I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions."

She went on to add former fiance Fury had been wrapped up in his audiobook and that she wanted to be understanding as her own audiobook recording was "the most intense week of her entire life".
