Sir Tom Jones sparked a flood of social media complaints from ITV's The Voice viewers after it was revealed one of the contestants on Saturday's show had a connection to him.
Canadian singer-songwriter STORRY impressed all the judges with her vocals in the latest episode, and it soon emerged she had been an opening act for one of the iconic singer's recent gigs, which saw some questioning how she got onto the show.
The powerful singer's voice saw each judge turn their chairs, all hoping to be selected as STORRY's coach.
This included Jones, 84, will.i.am, 49, LeAnn Rimes, 42, and McFly members Tom Fletcher, 39 and Danny Jones, 38.
"You're totally unique. You're your own. And it's so wonderful to see you in your power. That was absolutely stunning," will.i.am beamed.
Jones deemed her "fantastic" and "powerful," which led the STORRY to make the revelation that she'd in fact worked with him.
"Thank you so much, Tom, because I almost met you, by the way," she began.
"Because in August, I actually opened for you, and I didn't get to meet you. And I'm so happy that you turned. I was like, 'please let Tom turn!'"

"Was I late getting there, then?" Jones asked as he awkwardly acknowledged his failure to recognise the singer.
"You were, you pulled up in your car and, you know - I get it - it was a cold night, that night," STORRY recalled.
Later, the She's a Lady hit-maker was given a chance to fight for STORRY to pick him to be her mentor over his co-stars.
He addressed his previous blunder as he announced: "My pitch is... I'm sorry that I missed you when we worked together, so I want to make up for that.
"You know, I want to know more about you. I want to hear more of what you can do on my team."

While over the moon about Jones' comments, STORRY ended up opting for will.i.am to be her coach, which delighted the US rapper.
However, many viewers soon took to social media to complain about the Welsh singer's link to STORRY and the fact she was singing professionally already.
"If she opened for Tom Jones then she must already have ‘made it’ to a great extent - they ain’t going to pick anyone. Bit unfair on those trying to break into the business #thevoice," one penned.
A second wrote: "Not really a fresh voice then? 'Opened for Tom jones.' #thevoice."
"So she opened up for Tom Jones, wonder how she got on the voice #thevoiceuk," another added.
