Tom Jones's ex-girlfriend has claimed that Engelbert Humperdinck made romantic advances towards her, including supposedly dropping his trousers when they were alone together.
Charlotte Laws has claimed that the incident occurred backstage around 1980 after she attended Humperdinck's show at the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas.
Her allegation comes after Humperdinck, 88, recently denied claims that he had hit on her during an interview with DailyMail.com in November.
"Engelbert said he didn't make a pass at me. That's just not true," Laws firmly claimed, though she maintained she was not the cause of the singer's 44-year feud with ITV The Voice coach, Jones.
Laws described a scenario in which Humperdinck invited her backstage, where he "was patting the sofa" for her to sit next to him.
"And so I went in and I sat next to him and we talked for a little bit, and then he tried to kiss me and I said, 'I have really strict morals'," she alleged to DailyMail.com.

"And he said, 'Oh, I respect that very much' – which I didn't really believe, but that's what he said."
"And then he just got up and he dropped his pants," Laws claimed.
Laws, who dated Jones for three years, described their relationship as a "Cinderella story" that began when she was just 17 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
"I am a very, very picky person," she explained. "I hardly ever like anybody, but I was very interested in Tom, believe it or not, starting when I was nine years old."

Her determination to meet Jones led her to bribe a bellhop for information about his routine.
She eventually met him while wearing a showgirl costume in a hallway, which led to their three-year romance.
The bitter feud between the two singing legends continues to this day, with Jones recently calling Humperdinck a "p***k" in an interview with The Sun on Sunday in 2024.
"There is nothing friendly about me and Engelbert," Jones declared, flatly rejecting any possibility of reconciliation.
Humperdinck responded diplomatically to Jones's attacks, telling the Mirror: "It doesn't bother me - the only person it hurts is himself."
Laws revealed that the animosity dated back decades before her encounter with Humperdinck.
She attributed the tension to Humperdinck's jealousy over Jones's success and attention from their mutual manager Gordon Mills.
Both Jones and Humperdinck rose to fame in the 1960s under manager Gordon Mills, who suggested they change their names to find success.
