Strictly's Karen Hauer admits 'I've seen things' as she hints at unknown victims of BBC show 'curse'

Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hauer has divulged there have been secret victims of the notorious Strictly "curse" which didn't hit headlines.
The 42-year-old professional Latin dance specialist made the shock admission that she has "seen things" but didn't expose any names.
The infamous "Strictly curse" has become a well-known phrase coined over the years in reference to the couples who were torn apart after one of them took part in the BBC competition, which started back in 2004.
There are many examples of celebrity contestants who have left relationships in order to date their dance partner or vice versa.
One of the more notable instances came in 2018 when comedian Seann Walsh was snapped kissing dance partner Katya Jones despite him having a girlfriend and Jones being married to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones.
Speaking about the notorious pattern, Hauer suggested there are many more examples the public aren't aware of.

"I've seen things. I'm not gonna talk about them. It exists. It's there," she told new! magazine.
"Whoever wants to go and play, that's there on them." She went on to note the Strictly couples spend lots of time "up close and personal" together during rehearsals.
The longest-serving Strictly professional added she has never gone "there" as she respects her job on the popular show.
Hauer went on to comment on the scandal surrounding Giovanni Pernice, who left the show after being accused of "abusive" behaviour by his actress partner of last year, Amanda Abbington.

"We've all just been so busy with our own tours. He's on tour as well," she told the publication.
"So it's been really tough to kind of even, you know, see one another. But you know, he'll definitely be missed."
Her Strictly co-star Gorka Marquez also took part in the interview and said of the matter: "I don't know anything. I try to stay away from that.
"Strictly is not on. The only thing I know is I am back and I'm excited that we start very soon."

Pernice, 33, has been at the centre of a media storm for months following the claims made last year.
After months of speculation, the BBC recently confirmed Pernice will not be returning for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Pernice has strongly denied accusations made but Abbington's claims were reportedly backed by other previous partners Pernice had starred on the show with.
A BBC investigation into the accusations is currently taking place.
