Fans and co-stars of former Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor, 44, have been left shocked after news broke on Tuesday morning that the star had died.
As several big names from across the world of television paid their own respects on social media, Windsor's ex-fiance, Davide Cini, has broken his silence after being engaged to the late Latin and Ballroom dancer for a year.
Early on Tuesday morning, Windsor's company Burn The Floor announced his death on social media, detailing the "void" his loss will bring those involved in the international dance business.
Cini and Windsor became engaged in 2013, but their relationship ended not long after, with Windsor later announcing he was in a relationship with X Factor star Marcus Collins.
Sharing his heartache on Instagram on Tuesday, Cini addressed the sad news as he thanked his followers for their support in the wake of the announcement.
He wrote: "I deeply appreciate everyone's messages following Robin's untimely passing. Please understand that I'm currently overwhelmed and unable to respond individually."

He concluded: "Your support means a lot to me. Thank you for respecting my need for space as I come to terms with this tragic loss."
Windsor proposed to Cini during a romantic trip to New York in 2013, with Windsor's former Strictly Come Dancing partner, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, present at the time.
Speaking to the Mirror after popping the question, Windsor stated: "I’d been planning the proposal with Lisa’s help since March. It was absolutely the most romantic thing I could ever think of.
“Everyone on Strictly was thrilled for us. Of course, it would be absolutely amazing if Bruce [Forsyth] got up and did something but we’ll have to see!"

The cause of Windsor's death has not yet been disclosed, but the dance company he co-founded seems to have been the first to publicly break the news.
A statement by the company read: "A BTF journeyman he danced with us for twenty years - including Broadway, The West End and all our crazy adventures around the world.
“His stunning image attached with Jessica Raffa defined our company, colourful, extreme and sensual.
"His talent, attitude, energy and personality helped create the Burn the Floor stage reputation. He leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled, yet our wonderful memories will stay forever.”
