Phillip Schofield has broken cover for the first time since the former television host admitted to lying about his affair with a colleague on This Morning.
The ex-This Morning star had been too afraid to leave his home in case the public spat on him after the relationship he had with a runner was revealed.
The former host was spotted in Cornwall to celebrate his mother's birthday, dressed in a casual blue T-shirt and white linen shorts.
Clutching his vape, the 61-year-old appeared to look unhappy but with a slight tan and new haircut.

The Italian chef made his return after a long break from the ITV show but caused chaos when he asked what he had missed over the past month.
