Phillip Schofield has made a rare appearance himself on social media as he continues to reintroduce himself to the spotlight since his This Morning exit.
Schofield broke his silence on Instagram last month with an update centred on his adorable pet pooch, Alfie.
Since that foray back into the public eye on May 15, Schofield has sporadically shared new updates on the photo-sharing site - but they all involved his dog.
On May 25, he shared a snap of the pooch after he'd hidden his owner's socks and followed these up with two other updates showing Alfie sleeping and heading for a swim.
On Friday, however, Schofield decided to feature himself in his latest string of updates - although still managed to include Alfie.
In a series of posts uploaded to his Instagram story, Alfie could be seen rummaging around in mud, making a mess in the process.

Schofield then shared a full-length snap of himself in a white dressing gown soon after, with the garment covered in muddy paw marks.
The former This Morning host left his face out of the picture but it marked the first time he'd shared a snap of himself since making his social media comeback.
To conclude the series of updates, Schofield shared a snap of the dirty gown on the floor before its wash.
The recent social media activity comes a year after he left This Morning and ITV as a whole after admitting to lying about an "unwise but not illegal" relationship with a male member of crew on the show.

Several former ITV co-stars have shown their support for his return to the spotlight, with the likes of Josie Gibson, Leigh Francis and Alison Hammond among his fans to like his posts.
Sources have since claimed Schofield is eyeing up a return to the screen, with one stating he allegedly feels like he was "thrown under the bus" by ITV.
"He thinks he was thrown under the bus. From some of what he says, he feels he is the victim," a source told the Daily Mail.
Rumours surrounding how exactly Schofield could return to screens have been rife for months, with a stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle a popular bet with bookmakers.
However, some think Schofield could be poised for a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan as he tries to rehabilitate his image.
Speaking on behalf of Betfred, Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley Cornelius said: "Phil appears to be reconnecting with his industry friends behind the scenes, as he was spotted having dinner with Dec Donnelly, reaching out to Jeremy Clarkson online, and most recently, Alison Hammond was seen liking one of his Instagram pictures.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"However, the prospect of going straight back into TV is likely very daunting for Phil, especially since there could be some strong and raw emotions still between Schofield and ITV, as it’s been reported that he felt ‘thrown under the bus’ by the broadcaster.
“With this in mind, an alternative avenue Phil may take to break his silence is through an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan on his online show ‘Piers Uncensored.’ Piers was one of the first celebrities to speak out in support of Phillip Schofield when his controversy first broke, and has continued to back the former This Morning presenter.
“By taking this approach, Schofield and his team can gauge public reaction. Depending on how well the interview is received, Phil could either progress back into TV, or retract back into hiding if things don’t go to plan and remove the risk of Schofield having to stand down for a second time from a TV role.
“Known for his no-nonsense approach to interviewing, Piers is a veteran broadcaster and journalist with many years of experience dealing with challenging and controversial situations, such as Fiona Harvey from Netflix’s hit series ‘Baby Reindeer’ and, most recently, Kevin Spacey. The public will likely trust Morgan to remain impartial and give Phil a fair interview.”
