Peter Andre, 51, has opened up about how devastated he felt when he learned about the death of TV doctor Michael Mosley after he went missing during his holiday in Symi, Greece.
Mosley, who made his name by putting his body to the limits for science, told his wife Claire Bailey that he was going to walk back to their accommodation after a day at the beach.
Six hours later his wife called the local authorities to report her husband missing as she hadn't seen or heard from him since leaving the beach.
After a four-day man-hunt and severe weather warnings, Mosley died at around 4pm on the day he disappeared and was found by a fence at the resort of Agia Marina in Crete on Sunday, June 9 just 260 feet from a beach bar and safety.
It was reported that the 67-year-old had laid on the ground with his feet in the air to help regulate his body temperature and reduce his risk of fainting.
Andre and Mosley met and appeared together on the ITV show The Junk Food Experiment, with the singer recently admitting he was "shocked" to learn of his death.

In his new OK! magazine column, Andre wrote: "I was so sad to hear about the passing of Dr Mosley - he was such a lovely man. I worked with Michael on The Junk Food Experiment and he couldn't have been nicer to me.
"What happened to him is devastating and so shocking. I really feel for his family and can't begin to imagine how his wife and children are feeling. My thoughts and love go out to them."
The show aired in 2019, where Andre was joined by The Chase's Shaun Wallace, former MP Nadine Dorries, Made In Chelsea's Hugo Taylor and Coronation Street star Hayley Tammadon.
Each star has to eat only Britain's three favourite fast foods - pizza, fried chicken and burgers - for three weeks straight to see what impact it had on them.

During the experiment, Andre was seen fighting off migraines and suffering from bowel issues, but remained in high spirits, with his MRI inspection revealing that he gets the kind of high from eating junk food usually enjoyed by clubbers getting high on MDMA.
The initial post-mortem examination which was carried out by Rhodes coroner Despina Nethena, showed that there was no third-party involvement and no 'criminal' element involved - but a definite cause of death is yet to be established.
The doctor was captured on CCTV footage by a beach restaurant stumbling around for several minutes before making his way down a slope close to a perimeter fence and falling out of view.
It is thought he carried on around the fence before he fell to where his body was found face up just a mere 260ft from a holiday resort.

"He was immensely grateful for how receptive the public was to the ideas he had the privilege to share and to the many scientists whose work he had the honour to help popularise.
"Our hearts are with Clare and the children. Michael was unique. The work he did was important. We will miss him dreadfully."
