Oasis reunion: Noel and Liam's Glastonbury hopes given huge boost after trend noticed in tour dates

Oasis confirmed on Tuesday they would be reuniting next year for a huge world tour, with the 1990s Britpop band delighting fans globally with the announcement.
While excitement continues to grow, theories about what could be next for the band are already swirling, and there's some evidence brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher could be heading to Glastonbury next year ahead of their tour.
The hugely-anticipated reunion was finally confirmed this week, and will be the first time the brothers will have played together since the band split in 2009 following a long-running feud.
Following the news, the Sportscasting.com traders are making odds on of 4/5 for Oasis to headline Glastonbury 2025, as next year's festival date has been kept free from the band's tour.
Oasis have so far announced 14 dates for next year, but the odds traders have noticed they've kept the June 25 to 29 Glastonbury dates free - sparking strong speculation the Gallaghers will be enticed to warm-up for their tour at the big Somerset festival.
It is thought Glastonbury officials are keen to sign Taylor Swift for next year, and if Oasis are also confirmed it could mean the biggest line-up in the event's history.

SportsCasting spokesman Andy Newton stated: "Some Might Say this news has been coming for a while, but with speculation turning to reality all Oasis fans will now be looking for some Morning Glory when tickets for their reunited 2025 tour become available first thing on Saturday.
"However, the eagle-eyed oddsmakers have noticed that the announced Oasis tour dates start a week after Glastonbury, which next year will run from June 25 to 29.
"Despite some outlets saying they won’t appear at the festival, I don't think it’s a coincidence they've kept these dates free - which is why the betting experts still make them odds-on to sign at the 2025 festival - therefore, it would be no shock to see a big Glastonbury announcement in early 2025 to keep up the hype and be the final jigsaw in the Oasis comeback 'Masterplan'."
The band has confirmed shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in July and August 2025. Oasis is calling it a world tour but the shows confirmed so far are for the UK and Ireland.

These include Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5; Manchester's Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 19 and 20; London's Wembley Stadium on July 25 and 26 and August 2 and 3; Edinbugh's Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on August 8 and 9 and Dublin's Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
The band stated: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.
While only UK and Ireland tours have been confirmed so far, it's understood plans are under way for Oasis to tour other countries.
A statement explains the other world shows are yet to be announced. The Britpop band split 15 years ago after releasing their char-topping album around three decades ago.
