Former Met Police Detective Peter Bleksley has explained what we can expect after authorities found a body in their search for missing Doctor Michael Mosley.
The 67-year-old went missing on Wednesday while on a walk during a holiday on the Greek island of Symi.
Formal identification is yet to be carried out, and Bleksley explained to GB News viewers how teams in Greece will be working to establish this.
“With regard to the procedures that will take place, I understand the coroner has examined the body in situ”, he said.

Bleksley spoke about his experience in similar scenarios during his lengthy career in policing, and he says the power of hope is what gives people determination.
“Hope springs eternal. It’s what motivates people”, he said.
“Whether it’s police officers searching for a missing person or whether it’s rescuers who go to a natural disaster.
“It’s always about hope, but when the hope fades and the unfortunate reality kicks in, it’s all about providing service for loved ones.

“Of course, treating any bodies that are found with the utmost respect and dignity and doing all that you can to soften what will be inevitably for someone, utterly heartbreaking news.”
The body was discovered in a rocky area beside Asia Marina on Symi on Sunday after an extensive search operation.
It was found around a 30 minute walk from the village of Pedi where Mosley was last spotted.
He was with friends at Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday, before going alone for a walk to the centre of the island.
Michael Mosley had been missing since Wednesday
ITVPolice arrived at Agia Marina around 20 minutes after the decomposed body was discovered lying face up about 90 metres from the coastline.
At around 2.09pm local time, firefighters arrived at the marina by boat and carried an orange stretcher and large black bag to where the body was found.
Other people wearing plain clothes got off the white speed boat and took briefcases up the rocky hill.
Five firefighters left the island by boat with the body on a stretcher at around 2.45pm local time (12.45pm BST) while holidaymakers crowded along the stone wall overlooking the sea.
On Saturday, an emergency services helicopter spent hours flying across the mountainous search site on Symi between Pedi bay and Agia Marina, and hovered over the spot where the body was found.
