Lisa Armstrong has reportedly cut her final tie with ex-husband and new-dad Ant McPartlin six years on from their divorce after selling her marital home for £4milliom - keeping a staggering £1.7m for herself.

Armstrong has been renting the lavish home over recent years for £10,000 a month but is finally moving on from her former life with the Saturday Night Takeaway star.

The pair bought the house together for £2.3m back in 2006, with the Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist keeping the deeds to the five-bedroom house following their split.

The house is described on Rightmove as "a substantial double-fronted family home" and advertises a large garden, gym, three bathrooms a cinema room and bar area.

A source close to Armstrong reportedly told The Sun: "Lisa has long since moved on but this is essentially the last connection she has from her marriage to Ant.

"She bought a new home nearby after they divorced and added a pool and a gym. She rented the former marital home out, but after last year's fire gutted a back bedroom she doesn't want the hassle anymore."

McPartlin and Armstrong split in October 2018 despite the beauty guru sticking by his side through his bouts of substance addiction, with the Britain's Got Talent presenter going on to marry his former PA Anne-Marie Corbett in 2021.

The pair recently became parents to their son Wilder, with McPartlin boasting on his Instagram: "Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess."

During their marriage, McPartlin and Armstrong were open about their struggles to have children before they welcomed their fur-baby Hurley into the family - with the former couple now sharing custody of the chocolate Labrador.

Their custody battle over Hurley was a big feature of their messy split, with the MailOnline reporting that McPartlin told his lawyers: "She can have anything she wants except the dog."

It's believed Armstrong wants to have sole custody of the dog, especially with McPartlin and Corbett having two dogs of their own and now a child together.

Armstrong recently posted a series of snaps of Hurley for his 11th birthday and captioned them: "Happy 11th birthday, my baby boy," with McPartlin seeming to fail to mark the occasion.

The 47-year-old frequently posts pictures of the dog, whom she has reportedly called her "lifeline".

A source told OK!: "She [Armstrong] really had to fight Ant for him [Hurley], which she still is annoyed about as he got other dogs with Anne-Marie and now she would just like Hurley to live with her full-time.

"Ant obviously loves Hurley as well but he now has a lot of other responsibilities and things going on in his life and Lisa can't see why she can't have full custody of him."

The source emphasised how Hurley had helped Armstrong to get through her public divorce from McPartlin, adding: "He's more than just a dog to her and has been a lifeline at times."
