Kelly Osbourne has sparked another backlash after claiming she won't "ever get cancer".

The reality star's comments came during a recent episode of the podcast she records alongside her famous parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as her brother, Jack.

The 39-year-old joked she was so "pickled from all the drugs and alcohol" that she won't "ever get cancer".

As the family discussed the mother-of-one's historic substance abuse, she remarked: "I'm hoping that I’ve embalmed myself so I don’t ever get cancer."

She went on to add: "I'm pickled from all the drugs and alcohol, for sure."

Jack, 38, replied: "I don’t think it works that way," which many listeners agreed with before taking to social media to express their concerns over the comments.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person penned: "Alcohol is a carcinogen. It causes different types of cancers."

Another remarked: "That's a wild way to look at it," while another admitted: "I'm not sure I'd say that s*** out loud Kelly. Yikes!"

"Yeah, because nothing says 'cancer prevention' like a lifetime supply of bad decisions and questionable life choices. Next thing you know, she'll be touting the benefits of eating lead paint chips," someone else quipped.

"Or it has significantly increased the risk," another person added, before someone else said sarcastically: "ya that'll work lol." (sic)

Kelly also came under fire earlier this year for her comments about Ozempic

It isn't the first time Kelly has come under fire for her remarks, with the reality star labelled "out of touch" for her remarks about Ozempic earlier this year.

The use of Ozempic has been met with a lot of backlash as the injections are supposed to be to aid Type 2 diabetes, but celebrities’ use of it for cosmetic reasons means supplies for those who need it for medical use are running low.

Despite this leading to warnings from health professionals, Osbourne praised the use of the drug for dropping a few dress sizes.

Speaking in January at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala, she commented: "I think it’s amazing,” when discussing Ozempic.

According to E! News, she added: "There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something [that] isn’t as boring as working out?"

On the controversy surrounding the drug, she went on: "People hate on it because they want to do it.

"And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can’t afford it.

"Unfortunately, right now it’s something that is very expensive but it eventually won’t be because it actually works."

However, her comments have led to furious social media users to blast her online for the remarks.
