The couple's entrance shocked viewers as Censori removed her coat to reveal a nude look

Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori sparked controversy at the 67th Grammy Awards with a near-nude appearance on the red carpet.

The 30-year-old arrived wearing only a see-through mesh dress that left little to the imagination, whilst her husband opted for an all-black ensemble.

Censori initially appeared wrapped in a furry coat before dramatically revealing her daring outfit choice.

The revealing display immediately drew attention at the prestigious music awards ceremony, where West was nominated for two awards.

The couple's red carpet moment marked one of the most talked-about appearances of the evening, with Censori's outfit consisting of nothing but a thin fishnet covering.

According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, West appeared to orchestrate the revealing display, encouraging his wife to create a spectacle.

In footage from the red carpet, West was interpreted as telling Censori: "You're making a scene now," to which she nodded in agreement.

The lip reader claims West continued with: "Make a scene, I'll say it'll make so much sense," followed by specific instructions: "Drop it behind you and then turn."

West reportedly concluded his directions with a reassuring "I got you," to which Censori responded: "Alright. Let's go."

The exchange suggests the controversial appearance was carefully planned, with West appearing to direct his wife's actions on the red carpet.

The revealing display prompted immediate backlash on social media platform X, with users expressing their outrage at the couple's red carpet appearance.

One user wrote: "Kanye and that lady should be arrested for that stunt on the red carpet...... #GRAMMYs."

Another X user voiced their frustration, stating: "Every single time i have seen Kanye's wife naked was against my will."

Questions were raised about the event's dress code, with one social media user asking: "Kanye's wife is fully naked.... does this event not have a dress code...? #GRAMMYs."

The couple's appearance dominated online discussion throughout the evening, with many viewers expressing shock at the explicit nature of Censori's outfit choice.

Legal experts have highlighted potential consequences for Censori's revealing display under California law.

According to California Penal Code 314(1), indecent exposure is defined as exposing one's naked body in front of others who could be offended, provided the act is "willful and lewd".

First-time offenders could face up to six months in county jail and a £1,000 fine.

Subsequent offences would be treated as felonies, potentially resulting in state prison time and mandatory registration as a sex offender for at least 10 years.

Despite rumours that the couple were escorted out after their red carpet appearance, a source told Complex they remained at the event as West was a nominee.

The source clarified that the controversial look was reportedly an attempt to recreate the album cover of 'Vultures'.

The couple's attendance at the ceremony had been the subject of conflicting reports, with some outlets suggesting they had been removed following the outfit incident.
