Jeremy Clarkson has penned a sweet message of support to Mark and Katherine Wogan following the death of their mother, Lady Helen Wogan.
Lady Helen's death was confirmed by her son and daughter on Thursday evening, a little under nine years after their father Sir Terry Wogan died.
The legendary broadcaster and his wife were married for 50 years and shared four children and five grandchildren.
Sir Terry, who was best known for fronting some of the BBC's biggest shows on-screen and on radio for decades, died on January 31, 2016, following a cancer battle.
Lady Helen was born in 1936, making her 77 at the time of her death. No cause has been revealed.
Mark took to Instagram to announce the sad news, sharing a sweet snap of his parents as well as a montage of clips of his mother through the years.

"Our beautiful Mum left us last night after a fantastic life," Mark penned in a joint statement with his sister. "From a young Irish rose to Lady Wogan, she was the epitome of style and grace.
"A Mother, Grandmother and Wife, with love and kindness at her core. A strength and a belief that saw her through many of life’s trials.
"A sense of humour and a turn of phrase that would have you in fits of laughter. A proper lady in every sense of the word.
"Her and Dad are hopefully sharing a vodka martini and hoping we don’t make too much of fuss. We love you Mum, now and forever," he signed off, prompting Clarkson to reply with supportive words of his own.
In the comments of the post, Clarkson penned: "Horrible when it happens. Thinking of you."
He was far from the only famous faces to share supportive words to Lady Helen and Sir Terry's children as GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes also weighed in: "Mark, so sorry to hear. What a woman and what a couple. My sincere condolences to you."
Elsewhere, singer Nicole Appleton also commented: "Oh Mark I am soo sorry... sending you and your family love."
