The Clarkson's Farm star has come under fire following a social media post by a pub guest

Jeremy Clarkson has sparked backlash after it emerged the former Top Gear star is charging £200 for a pie at his pub's neighbouring Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

The presenter took on the project of opening a pub last year to add to his growing businesses, with his farm and farm shop in Oxfordshire welcoming visitors from all over - but some have recently blasted his money-making techniques.

After one visitor's social media video began circulating, viewers were left appalled to find the "greedy" prices Clarkson, 64, is charging for some of his products - including a pie that was being sold for £199.99.

The Instagram account, @theskepticstake, shared a clip from inside the shop and narrated the experience - and it wasn't a glowing review.

They began: "I went to Jeremy Clarkson's pub and farm shop so you don't have to.

"A place where you pay £2 to park in a muddy field, and choose from the array of overpriced souvenirs that will end up in your bin.

"Like this bl**** candle, for £22 and enough pie to throw at your neighbour for £200.

"Or a litre of non-organic milk for £6.10, including the bottle. And before you leave, try the construction site pee experience in this shipping container."

Taking to the comments, one follower went as far as cancelling their planned trip to visit the site, with others slamming the cost of the products.

"Puts himself up as a people and farming champion! I’ll cancel my planned visit asap," one shared.

"Greedy man," a second remarked, with someone else asking: "Is it seriously £200 for a pie?!"

"£2 to Park god is anyone that desperate, this alone would put me off going," another posted.

Someone else fumed: "He’s absolutely taking the p*** out of real farmers. What’s more pitiful is the incredible number of saps who are falling for all it all."

Others have hit back at the negative response though, with one writing: "You know what you are going to see before you go.

"If you don’t like it don’t go. I'm not lucky enough to live near enough to visit but when I visited the Cotswolds I went to the farm shop.

"Fantastic experience. I’m sure your mother told you 'if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all.'" (sic)

Jeremy Clarkson's prices at his farm shop have sparked anger

It's not the first time visitors have slammed Clarkson's pricing at Diddly Squat.

In November, the pricing at the pub, The Farmer's Dog, sparked fury among fans. It came as the official Instagram page posted a snap of one of the dishes, a fillet steak served with carrots, mash, and cabbage.

The caption detailed that the dish cost £28, leaving some to ask "where's the rest of it?"

However, many once again jumped to Clarkson's defense, with some deeming the price "reasonable" for a fillet steak.
