The former Strictly pro gave birth to daughter Lyra on July 29

Janette Manrara and husband Aljaz Skorjanec may have only welcomed their baby girl a little over two weeks ago but the former is already raring to return to work.

Sadly for Strictly fans, neither will be making surprise returns to the dancefloor but 39-year-old Manrara has shared a different tidbit of exciting career news.

Manrara has confirmed she'll be back as one of the hosts of Strictly Come Dancing's sister show, It Takes Two.

The half-hour show airs weekdays on BBC Two and gives diehard Strictly fans a peek into rehearsals as well as hear from the cast.

Manrara confirmed her return on Instagram after she encouraged her fans to send over their thoughts on this year's crop of celebs taking part.

She said to the camera: "Hi everyone, happy Monday. Yes, I am wearing the same dress but I have showered and I didn't really sweat yesterday so I just popped it back on - such a comfortable dress!

"But I wanted to come on and talk about the celebrity line-up for Strictly Come Dancing.

"They've all been announced," she excitably continued. "I've been popping them slowly on my Instagram but I'm really curious to see and hear what you guys think of the line-up.

"Do you have any favourites already? Anyone that you're really excited about? Anybody that you're surprised about to see in the line-up?

"Do you have any predictions of who might be dancing with who? Is it too early to say who some of the early frontrunners could be? I don't know! Let me know, I wanna hear what you guys think.

However, instead of sharing their verdict on the line-up, one fan was keen to put Manrara in the spotlight.

"Are u going to be back on ITT?" one follower's probe read, which prompted Manrara to say: "Yes, I am back.

"I guess there wasn't a huge official announcement but yeah, I'm back," she added with a laugh.

Explaining the decision, she added: "Luckily I had more than enough time on maternity leave with Lyra for me to be able to come back and do the show.

"So yes, I will be on the couch along with Fleur [East] interviewing all of the couples and I can't wait to actually.

"I literally can't wait. It was such an amazing year last year but I feel like every year just, I don't know, it's just as great."

Manrara will take turns with former finalist Fleur East to front the show after she took over from Rylan Clark.

While she confirmed Skorjanec wouldn't be returning to Strictly, she did tease he had "the best job in the world right now" being a new father.

The pair have been open and honest about their journey into parenthood with regular updates on social media.

Just last week, Manrara was able to welcome her parents over from Miami, Florida to meet Lyra for the first time.

The newborn was also introduced to Skorjanec's former Strictly celeb partner Sara Davies recently.
