Dancing on Ice professional Mark Hanretty scrambled to salvage his and Adele Roberts' routine during Sunday night's show.
The duo were skating to Clearly by Grace Vanderwaal when the unfortunate incident happened and left Hanretty slipping across the surface while Roberts retained her composure.
Luckily, as the crowd screeched, Hanretty jumped back to his feet and skated back to Roberts' outstretched hand and the pair finished the routine.
The moment didn't manage to detract from Roberts' scores, however, as they ended up topping the leaderboard.
Ashley Banjo awarded them 6.5 while Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean all opted for a score of seven apiece.
However, Dean couldn't resist a pop at Hanretty's slip as he quipped when giving his score: "Seven for Adele, six for Mark."

Hanretty and Roberts - who's been backed by a former DOI champ to win the series - let out a laugh that the slip hadn't ruined their chances.
And the scores clearly meant a lot to Roberts who's taking part in the ITV contest just a few years after being diagnosed with bowel cancer.
The DJ - along with a number of her Dancing on Ice castmates - were left in tears when she and Hanretty joined Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern on the side of the rink.
Willoughby - who'd already caused a stir with an all-new look - said to Roberts: "Just let that sink in because that is the highest mark of the series so far!

"I know you visualised this moment so many times, was it as good as that?" the former This Morning host asked.
"Oh my goodness, everybody needs to try Dancing on Ice!" Roberts said as the studio audience cheered.
She continued: "It was an absolute dream. It feels like I'm in the telly, it's incredible.
"I can't believe it's happening to me and everything I've been through... it was worth it for this moment, thank you."

The crowd roared as Roberts secured her spot at the top of the leaderboard, although she was soon joined by a fellow contestant.
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards left everyone gob-smacked with his debut routine and bagged the same score as Roberts.
However, the same couldn't be said for comedian Lou Sanders who ended up in the skate-off against Ricky Hatton following her debut on Sunday.
Luckily for the Taskmaster star, she was saved by the judges and Hatton was the first person to be booted off this year's series.
