Celebrity Big Brother Housemates Fern Britton and Nikita Kuzmin butt heads during tonight’s episode as the Strictly star is left stunned by Britton’s “unnecessary” row.
Over the last couple of days, viewers have picked up on the awkward tension between the pair, despite seeming to have gotten along just fine before.
During a sneak peek of tonight’s show, Kuzmin and the former This Morning presenter leave their Housemates in an awkward predicament when they begin to argue in front of them.
As they sat around the living room, Britton walked over to Kuzmin to fill up his glass and noted: “You see, you and I get on alright when we’re playing games. And can I tell you, how old are you now?”
“26,” he replied before Britton continued: “When you’re 66, you’ll have exactly the same brain. Which is why… yeah.”
Looking confused over their interaction, Nikita asked: “Are we having beef, or what’s happening?” before glancing over at his fellow Housemates for clarification.

“No, I’m just saying. Never, never look at an old person and think they’re just old. We’re still, in our heads, 26,” Britton explained.
Still perplexed by the unexpected line of questioning, Kuzmin urged Britton to continue explaining why she was upset, leaving her to add: “When you said to me the other day.
“And you were very sweet ‘I like your stripey top, stripes are in fashion, Fern…” which left Kuzmin to comment: “There is no – nothing personal.
“I was just paying you a compliment and being nice to you and you’re trying to make the situation a little bit uncomfortable, and I’m not sure why.”

“No, I’m not trying to do that,” Britton defended but Kuzmin was not prepared to let it drop and continued: “Whatever problem you have with me, you just come and talk to me.”
As Zeze Millz sat opposite the bar hiding behind her glass, Britton urged: “I don’t have a problem with you Nikita.”
Taking one final stab in the argument, Kuzmin quipped: “I just find it really unnecessary, not going to lie, Fern.”
Viewers of the show who had seen the clip of Big Brother’s official X account were quick to comment on why Britton was being so harsh on the Strictly star.

Fern and Nikita come to blows during tonight's episode

“Nikita being more mature than someone who is 40 years older than him, be so for real,” one commented before another added: “Fern needs to go tonight, I’m not having this at all.”
One furious user said: “I hate how they are making Nikita out to be the Villain all of a sudden? Nikita was paying Fern a compliment - he's that kind of guy.
“He only said stripes are in fashion. Why is Fern bringing age into the situation? She's showing her true colours here. Very patronising.”
A fourth quipped: “Fern talking about age shouldn’t matter a day after she nominated colson because he’s too young to have pains.”
“Fern being extremely patronising and finding any excuse to argue with Nikita. She seems very entitled! He was clearly just giving her a compliment,” another jibed.
