Celebrity Big Brother fans have hailed Fern Britton as their “winner” following last night's show after she shut down Ekin-Su Culculoglu for her “disturbed game playing" - with fans calling for her removal.
The housemates were tasked with giving their nominations in front of one another which ended in tears for many of the celebrities.
Culculoglu nominated Britton after claiming she felt like the former This Morning star hadn’t asked her personal questions, and they hadn’t had “deep, deep” conversations.
Not holding back, Britton annihilated her fellow housemate and slammed: “This is because we are talking about playing the game. I have asked you plenty of questions.
“But sometimes, well a lot of the time the answer hasn’t’ been… particularly enlightening and you’re right, I don’t know much about you.
“So I don’t get you, you don’t get me, that’s fine. That is the way it is. I sometimes think you are wearing a mask and I think that you might absorb a lot of people's personalities very quickly.

“And you’re good at judging situations. It’s mean, but I feel the danger, and I feel that I don’t know the real you and that, that has disappointed me and disturbed me.”
Culculoglu was caught on camera looking bemused by Britton’s choice words and made no effort to kiss Britton back when she told her “you’re brilliant”.
The tense scenes caused chaos on social media, leaving X users to praise Britton for putting the former Love Island star “in her place”.
One commented: “I'm glad that Fern clocked Ekin Su. Something horrible about Ekin cutting down Marisha that much over a nomination.”

Another added: “After watching last nights episode of #CBB I want fern in the Final the way she hyped up Marisha was everything. Then she with seeing right through Ekin-Su, and how she worded it was perfect.”
“Fern has seen Ekin-Su and Ekin-Su doesn’t like that. Ekin-Su showing narcissistic tendencies,” one quipped as a fourth penned: “Fern's savage take down of Ekin Su be like.. !! Ekin has to go!”
One furious user expressed: “Fern was not holding back at ALL on Ekin I am GAGGED rn… producers definitely did the right thing giving us face to face nominations.”
However, not all viewers were impressed with Britton’s takedown, as one concerned viewer fumed: “Ekin-Su is being picked on.

“I feel sorry for her as their all in their to play a game but don’t get Fern problem as she is better old woman and rude get fern out.” (sic)
Britton couldn’t let the moment go and later blasted Culculoglu yet again in the diary room, claiming she gave “the performance of someone distressed".
“I was watching yesterday afternoon as Louis was saying goodbye to Sharon [Osbourne], and everyone stood up and gave a speech.
“And I noticed Ekin-Su sitting at the table like this [made sniffling noise] and I thought, is that real or a performance?”
