Escape to the Chateau stars Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree have spoken out about the future of their family's French home again after previously addressing what their children's plans may be once it's passed down.
The 64-year-old and his wife, 45, purchased the Château de la Motte-Husson in the north of France back in 2015 and documented its restoration in the hit Channel 4 series.
However, the show came to a close last year with its cancellation being marred with controversy amid claims of clashes between the husband and wife duo and the production company behind the series.
Work at the picturesque abode has continued despite the fact the cameras have stopped rolling and Strawbridge and Adoree have moved on to pastures new.
The duo have released a new book recently as well as launched their own podcast where they detail the goings-on at the Chateau as well as delve into their personal lives.
But it's in a new interview where the pair have addressed the Chateau's future within the family after they admitted its restoration had their children Arthur and Dorothy in mind.

"This is the long haul," Strawbridge said of the Chateau's place in the family.
"We've had lots of people saying, 'Oh they're selling', but this is our forever home and Arthur and Dorothy know that and we plan for the future.
"When we've been away on tours and then we come back, it's stable. We've been here for nine years. I don't think I've lived anywhere for nine years of my life in one place.
"But the chateau just feels permanent. And it has a permanency that is to be enjoyed," he added to Hello!
Strawbridge's latest revelation comes weeks after the two were probed on how they would feel if their young children decided to sell up one day.
"It's a good question because you don't know what tomorrow brings," Adoree said at the launch of their book last month, according to Express.co.uk.
She added at the time: "We have set this up as their forever home. We have got multi-generational living but we also make it really, really clear that there is absolutely no pressure.
"We expect them to travel the world but for us, we just know that we have done the best that we can and they have got some security now.

"It's like having a business and expecting your children to take it on and the reality is they may not want that. We just have to see what tomorrow holds."
Strawbridge echoed his wife's retort as he too insisted it's their children's decision what they decide to do with the chateau once it's handed down.
It isn't just the future of the Chateau that has been approached with their children in mind as Adoree and Strawbridge have claimed their kids getting older played a part in their calling time on the Channel 4 series.
While Channel 4 reportedly cut ties with the duo after launching an independent investigation into their conduct while working with production company Two Rivers Media, the husband and wife duo have said they'd always planned to end the show when it did as their children prepare for the next stages of their lives.
