Countdown star Susie Dent has been slammed by several of her followers on X after she made a subtle dig towards Donald Trump.
Today, Trump was re-elected back into office after a long campaign against Kamala Harris – winning with 276 of the electoral votes to Harris's 223.
The former Apprentice star declared victory in the 2024 US presidential election and told jubilant supporters in Florida: "I believe this was the greatest political movement of all time."
"We have a country that needs help very badly," he added before the Republican candidate vowed to "make America great again", promising to seal borders and allow people to enter legally.
Trump's campaign secured pivotal wins in key swing states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
Harris did not address her supporters gathered at Howard University. Her campaign co-chair, Cedric Richmond, told the crowd: "We will continue overnight to fight to make sure every vote is counted".

Trump promised to "help our country heal" and usher in a "golden age of America". He vowed to fix borders and address critical issues facing the nation.
His running mate, JD Vance, described Trump's campaign as "the greatest political comeback" in American history. Vance thanked Trump, saying: "I appreciate you allowing me to join you on this incredible journey".
At 78, Trump will be the oldest president ever elected. He would also be the first defeated president in 132 years to win another term in the White House.
Amongst others, it seemed Dent took a swipe at the highly anticipated election result which left her followers with a sour taste in their mouths.

She penned: “Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.”
“Grow up, Susie,” one follower simply penned before another added: “Now what is the return of something positive after 4 terrible years?”
“What an arrogant b*****d you are,” another slammed before a fourth quipped: “Oooh Susie...you're better than that.”
“Words of the day ‘cry more’,” one annoyed user expressed before a sixth wrote: “Lol, cry harder. Democracy is a thing, even though you globalists hate it.” (sic)
Dent wasn’t the only one, as comedian Jason Manford penned on his account: “Urgh I knew I’d wake up this morning to that psychopath being declared president!
“What is wrong with people? God help us all.”

Carol Vorderman also had her say about the election result and penned: “On @CNN... Looks like Trump will win. God help America.
