Britain's Got Talent's fourth semi final kicked off tonight with the judges stepping out in style once again

Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon left ITV talent show viewers stunned and confused just minutes into the show as she donned an oversized purple blazer alongside a matching purple top and purple tights.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly kicked off the fourth round of semi-finals tonight and, as always, introduced Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Dixon and Bruno Tonioli to the stage.

As Dixon exuded high fashion and strutted her stuff to the judging panel, many viewers flocked to their X accounts to comment on the outfit, likening her to a Quality Street wrapper, Barney and Willy Wonka.

One viewer commented: "Alesha come as the purple chocolate in the quality streets."

"Alesha, what is she wearing?" another asked before a third replied: "Alesha's outfit serving Daphne tonight."

Someone else penned: "Alesha looking like Violet Beauregard in that purple but I dig it."

Many compared Alesha to a quality street

"Alisha is looking quality (street) tonight… I’ll get me coat," another compared before a sixth noted: "Alesha just needs a red handbag to complete her look," alongside an image of a Teletubbie.

However, not everyone was unimpressed with her fashion choice, as one user praised: "Alesha looks lush tonight."

"She may be giving Barney vibes but I am in love with Alesha's outfit! The purple moment is wow and definitely her colour." (sic)

It comes as Holden was in the hot seat for her bold fashion statement during Tuesday's semi-final, after she donned a white dress which had a wavy effect, looping into two huge shoulder pads.

Many likened Holden's outfit to a meringue, chandelier, slinky and an Argos Princess party dress.

During last night's semi-final, fans claimed the show was "fixed" as magic act Magician's Assemble claimed to read the minds of "random" audience members.

The group performed mainly in front of the judge's panel and noted how they could make any wish come true and asked a random audience member to make any wish - before relaying to her that she wished to go to Barcelona.

Tonioli opened an envelope, where he pulled out a ticket to the part of Spain and left him speechless that they managed to predict the holiday destination.

The next piece of magic consisted of helping one young audience member "fly", but it quickly irked the viewers at home prompting them to claim the act was set up.

Making it through to the final last night was singer Syndey Christmas - who was Holden's Golden Buzzer act - and impressionist Mike Woodhams.
