The EastEnders star is one of three Strictly finalists

Bobby Brazier has come under fire from a number of Strictly Come Dancing fans ahead of this weekend's grand finale after it was revealed what routine he'd chosen to revisit for the occasion.

The 20-year-old bagged a spot in the final after seeing off Annabel Croft in an emotionally charged dance-off and will now compete against Ellie Leach and Layton Williams to try and lift the Glitterball.

Croft's exit led to calls she was "robbed" of her spot in the finale as well as a tearful exit interview alongside pro partner Johannes Radebe - who went on to pay tribute to Croft's late husband Mel in a tear-jerking post.

But looking ahead, Brazier, Leach and Williams have all selected one of their three finale routines as they were able to choose their favourite dance to revisit for the grand finale.

Meanwhile, the Strictly judges have been able to pick a routine they want to see again from each couple.

Fleur East announced what each celebrity and their professional dance partner had chosen on Monday's It Takes Two - and the Strictly fanbase wasn't exactly impressed.

Leach is revisiting her show-stopping American Smooth alongside Vito Coppola while Williams and Nikita Kuzmin are taking on the Argentine Tango - both routines earned each celeb a score of 39 apiece.

However, Brazier and Dianne Buswell have decided to dance their emotional Couple's Choice routine from Week 10.

The routine was dedicated to Brazier's late mother Jade Goody and left Shirley Ballas and Anton du Beke in tears before it earned him his first 10 scores of the series.

While undoubtedly a routine held close to Brazier's heart, several Strictly fans have hit out at the fact the Couple's Choice has been chosen - especially as only one contestant is taking it on.

After East announced the routine choices to a panel of former Strictly finalists including Mark Wright, Debbie McGee and Ore Oduba, fans took to the web to share their complaints.

On Reddit, one fan fumed: "I’m so disappointed in Bobby not doing their samba again, that was probably my favourite dance of this whole series but hopefully it’s the judges' pick."

A second added: "Kinda fuming they chose Bobby's couple's choice. I know it won’t affect that much but it’s unfair that Layton and Ellie have to do dances that rely on being technically strong to be effective."

Another slammed the Couple's Choice inclusion: "Soooo ready for Layton to get the 40 he was robbed of - same with Ellie!! No offence to Bobby but I don’t think couple's choices should be in the final as that’s essentially just a second showdance."

The fury kept on coming as a fourth commented: "I hate seeing couples choice in the final. Defeats the point of a show dance! Always think it would be nice to make them do one Latin and one ballroom in the final, and then the show dance on top."

"I will never be a fan of cc in the final," a fifth weighed in while a sixth echoed: "I think Bobby chose the wrong dance, how can that dance - which I think isn’t the best, to begin with - compete with two of the best dances of the whole series?"

However, there was still a handful of Strictly fans who jumped to Brazier's defence, including one who argued: "They've done couples choice in the final since it was introduced. It's hardly a new thing."

And a second mused: "Great choices for Ellie and Layton! Not so sold on CC in the final, but Bobby's was nice, and there is room for improvement there, so it could be interesting." (sic)

As well as the Couple's Choice, it's been confirmed Brazier will also take on a Showdance to a La La Land Medley and the judges have opted to see a Samba again to Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton.

Meanwhile, the judges have also decided they want to see Leach perform a Paso Doble again to 2WEI's Insomnia and Williams will re-do the Quickstep to Puttin' on the Ritz by Gregory Porter.

Williams's Showdance will be to Ne-Yo classis Friend Like Me while Leach's will be performed to a Jennifer Lopez Megamix.
