The statement reads: "The whole Strictly Come Dancing family are deeply saddened to hear the news about our dear friend Robin Windsor."
He was not only an exceptionally talented dancer and choreographer but also a caring, considerate and kind person both on and off the dancefloor.
"Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this extremely difficult time."
Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse replied to the statement on Instagram, with a prayer emoji as well as love hearts while Dianne Buswell also took to the comments to share a heartbroken emoji.
A cause of death hasn't yet been confirmed.
Among those who paid their respects on Tuesday morning was GB News' very own Eamonn Holmes.
Recalling his own experience meeting the dancer, Holmes said: "I got to dance with him, at of all places, Old Trafford. There were these publicity pictures taken on the pitch and overlooking the pitch.
"But he was there to dance with my wife for a ladies' lunch that we held for charity for the Manchester United Foundation.
