Noel and Sue Radford returned for a new series of their hit Channel 5 show this month

22 Kids and Counting's Chloe Radford, 28, and Luke Radford, 23, were left worried about their relationship in a recent episode of the Channel 5 series after a previous feud stopped them from speaking for a year.

During Sunday night's instalment of the show, emotions were left running high as Luke and Chloe continued to try and maintain a healthy relationship whilst working alongside one another.

The pair work in the family's pie factory and are seen together during the episode, but Chloe was left in tears after Luke admitted that he was thinking about leaving - for the sake of their relationship.

He admitted that he was worried there would be a strain put on them after their dad Noel decided to take a step back from the business.

Luke told viewers that until he had another job lined up, he wasn't going to tell Chloe that he wanted to leave - until she answered the phone to someone who was looking for Noel.

The woman on the other end of the line revealed to Chloe that it wasn't Noel they were specifically looking for, and were following up on a CV they had received from Luke.

Speaking to the camera about how she felt finding out the news from someone else other than her brother, the 28-year-old said: "I’m a little bit taken aback. I don’t really get it, I thought he was quite happy here.

"I thought he could speak to me, we’re on good terms again. If he is unhappy here I would rather he speaks to me about it and see if we can do anything rather than him just leaving."

She became emotional over the thought of Luke keeping such a big secret from her, but wiping away her tears she added: "I’m not happy about my brother keeping secrets from me. I daren’t speak to him right now, I might say something I’ll regret."

Chloe later in the episode went to her father to express her concerns over Luke leaving - forcing the head of the family to sit down with the siblings and get to the bottom of what was going on.

After being asked if he was leaving the company, Luke explained to his father: "With you stepping back, it means me taking a lot more direction from Chloe. Last time we fell out it was over work."

He added that he didn't want to jeopardise his relationship with Chloe or her daughter once again - leaving his sister to rebut his reasonings and add that they work really well together, wanting him to continue in the factory.

Resolving the issue, Chloe and Like made a pact that any conflict that happened within the workplace would not spill out into their family life as it had done before.

Speaking to the camera after coming to their decision, Luke said: "After talking things through it’s given me so much confidence that we talk through any problem in work and still be friends outside of work which is the most important thing to me."

Noel announced to the family matriarch Sue that he was stepping down from his pie business to work only two days a week in the first episode of the series.

The decision on his part came after he started to ponder a new life out of the UK - looking specifically at Dubai or Australia.
