Police in Scotland are investigating the death of a teenager who was found “unwell” at a property on Saturday morning.
Tributes are being paid to Lennix Hughes, 16, who tragically passed away a short time after being taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The authorities have launched a probe into the incident, after being called to a home at around 5am in the Dudhope Gardens area of the city.
One resident told The Scottish Sun the police had not left the area since arriving on the scene on Saturday morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5am on Saturday, 4 March, we were made aware of a 16-year-girl being unwell at a property in the Dudhope Gardens area of Dundee.
“Emergency services attended and she was taken by ambulance to Ninewells hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A number of tributes were paid to the 16-year-old online after her parents shared the news.

Her family said: said: “Writing this with the most shattered of hearts, our beautiful baby sadly passed away on the morning of Saturday the 4th of March.
“We are absolutely broken and can't imagine this life without her by our sides.
“Everyone that knows Lennix will agree she is the most caring soul with the biggest smile that could light up any room she walked in.
“The most affectionate girl with a fiery personality.

“Lennix you were just far too beautiful for this horrible world we really appreciate each and every heartfelt message from all of you but right now we are just trying to come to terms with this as a family.
